Job summary

Veolia group seeks an experienced engineer to ensure correctness of P&ID and sizing for water and wastewater projects in Bengaluru. You will cross-check process calculations, review control logic, and provide cost-effective process solutions across project stages.

Responsibilities include validating tagging, optimizing hydraulic and flow processes, and participating in HAZOP reviews with clients and consultants. Engineering degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental fields is required.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment.
• Strong understanding of process design, sizing and control logic.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate sold requirements on P&IDs.
• Ensure correctness per project specification including tagging requirements.
• Verify and cross check process projection calculations, membrane tank sizing, blower capacity and sizing, air for mixing requirements.
• Develop hydraulic flow diagrams and perform sanity checks.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews with customers and consultants.

Job Description

Must-Have Requirements:

• Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as sold requirements to customer onthe P&IDs w.r.t to proposal engineering.
• Ensure correctness per project specification including tagging requirements.
• Ensure correctness, verify and cross check process projection calculations.Exmembrane tank sizing, blower capacity and sizing, air for mixing requirements
• Able to cross check process sizing at an equipment level.
• Provide solutions for process optimization on hydraulic flow, pressurized flow,heat &mass balancing, control logic.
• Inside out knowledge and understanding of key Veolia products & technologiesand application engineering on process solutions
• Able to develop hydraulic flow diagram and perform sanity check independently
• Understand application engineering of Suez products & technologies on upstreamand downstream processes.
• Optimize and ensure correctness of process sizing at unit level (includingequipment level).
• Offer cost effective process solutions independently or in collaboration of processex perts.
• Negotiate with customer or customer consultant on process optimization.
• Sign off on process design review punch points as applicable.
• Ability to participate and contribute on HAZOP reviews with customer or customerconsultants and clearly resolve queries at a nodal level.
• Review & provide holistic comments on control philosophy document

Qualifications

Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Chemical /Mechanical/Environmental Engineering

Minimum 7-10 years’ Experience in Water or Waste Water treatment related Industry.
