Job summary

Aspire Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Navi Mumbai invites applications for a Process Chemist to plan and execute laboratory reactions as per protocols, located at Pawane.

The candidate should hold an M.Sc, ready to work with SOPs, safety protocols, and support pilot plant batch execution; familiarity with GC, Karl Fischer, and refractometer is a plus.

Qualifications

• MSc in chemistry or related field.
• Experience with SOPs and safety protocols in lab/pilot settings.
• Familiarity with analytical instruments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute chemical reactions in the laboratory as per defined protocols and instructions.
• Accurately record experimental results and prepare detailed reports including observations and conclusions.
• Conduct scale-down studies, process robustness testing, and negative trials to ensure "Right First Time" execution during manufacturing.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of chemicals, reagents, and glassware; communicate requirements to the stores department in a timely manner.
• Support the production team during batch execution in the pilot plant.
• Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and organizational systems.
• Assess process and raw material risks, and provide recommendations for safe and efficient plant-scale batch execution.
• Follow all safety protocols in both laboratory and pilot plant environments.
• Handle raw materials in accordance with MSDS guidelines and report any associated hazards.
• Actively participate in technology transfer activities from R&D to pilot plant or manufacturing plant.
• Experience in handling analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatograph (GC), Karl Fischer Titrator, Refractometer, etc., will be considered an added advantage.
