Job summary

Puma Energy is expanding its Global Delivery Center in Mumbai and seeks an Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience. You will design and implement automation solutions using Xceptor, Kissflow, and Sigma Computing, collaborating with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities include building automations, integrating systems, and driving data‑driven decisions while mentoring peers and supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years in process automation/engineering, with focus on Xceptor, Kissflow, or Sigma Computing.
• Hands-on Xceptor (Core & Recon Hub) including custom workflows, maker/checker, data processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and converting them into technical deliverables.
• Background delivering automation solutions in banking, financial services, or energy is preferred.
• Strong exposure to diverse input formats and data change events.
• Technical skills: SQL, Xceptor, Low Code Technologies, Sigma, Python, JavaScript.
• Nice-to-have: Databricks, cloud, Odoo.
• Soft skills: analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork; leadership potential.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Hands-on expertise in Xceptor (Core & Recon Hub) – including custom workflows, maker/checker functionalities, data processes, and dataset handling.
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and converting them into technical deliverables.
• Proven background in delivering automation solutions in banking, financial services, or energy industry is preferred.
• Strong exposure to handling diverse input formats/channels and data change events.
