JPMorgan Chase Bank in Bengaluru seeks a Team Leader for Alternative Fund Services – Portfolio Administration within Private Equity & Real Estate Services. You will oversee portfolio administration for hedge fund and private equity operations, coordinating with global teams to ensure accurate capital calls, distributions, and valuation entries.

The role requires handling high volumes, driving process improvements, and delivering timely results in a fast-paced, globally integrated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business or equivalent required.
• CA qualification is acceptable and considered a plus.
• Experience handling high volumes of requests across multiple functions.
• Experience with accounting applications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and accountability of resources responsible for booking capital calls, distributions notices from underlying fund managers.
• Reconciling cash flows and booking of valuation entries in PE books.
• Assist management in developing process efficiencies to reduce turnaround time.
• Produce daily metrics to communicate status and delivery of requests.
• Coordinate with Client Delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverable production.
• Review and approve for accurate fulfillment of requests from Client Delivery Team.
• Assist on various ad hoc projects throughout the month.

As a Team Leader - Alternative Fund Services - Portfolio Administration in the Private Equity & Real Estate Services team, you will oversee portfolio administration activities for hedge fund and private equity operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Ownership and accountability of resources responsible for booking capital calls, distributions notices received from underlying fund managers
• Reconciling cash flows and booking of valuation entries in the books of PE Investors
• Assist management in developing process efficiencies aimed at reducing turnaround time from request to delivery
• Produce daily metrics to communicate status and delivery of requests
• Coordinate with Client Delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverable production
• Review and approve for accurate fulfillment of requests from Client Delivery Team
• Assist on various ad hoc projects throughout the month

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Bachelor s degree in Commerce/Business or equivalent
• Up to 4 years of work experience or must be a qualified CA.
• Experience with managing high volumes of requests and transactions and working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
• Experience working in a truly global operating model with counterparts located in multiple countries and time zones
• Experience using accounting applications a plus and high level of proficiency in Excel and Word
