Position Overview

The Assistant Printing Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the printing department, ensuring adherence to quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and leading a team of skilled professionals. This position requires expertise in flexo and label printing technologies and a proven ability to manage large teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management

• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 20 printing professionals.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity and morale.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

2. Production Oversight

• Plan and execute daily printing schedules to meet production targets.
• Monitor resource utilization to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols within the department.

3. Technical Expertise

• Oversee the operation of flexo and label printing machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Implement best practices and stay updated with industry trends to improve processes.

4. Quality Assurance

• Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure printed materials meet company specifications.
• Regularly review production output to identify and address discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to align operations with quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production planning teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Participate in meetings to align departmental objectives with overall business goals.

6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
