Job summary

Responsibilities

• Designs solutions by producing various models that describe each component sufficiently to form a blueprint of the solution to be implemented
• Assesses requirements and relevant business and IT data to identify opportunities to create business value
• Reviews specified components of the systems architecture currently in place and works with the technical teams to recommend solutions to improve it. Assesses the compatibility, integration and technical specifications of a product/service/ architecture component to recommend appropriate, timely and necessary improvements or enhancements
• Executes straight‑forward competitive analyses and market validation activities, such as benchmarking, trend analysis and prototype testing
• Executes troubleshooting for problems of medium complexity and support through program and solution architecture lifecycles, escalating where necessary
• May lead architecture development for small projects and supports architectural efforts for medium to large projects (e.g., a project module or existing technology map review) or complex components of projects
