Job summary

TresVista’s Descrial unit seeks a Principal Software Engineer – Front End to set the technical vision for front-end engineering across a multi-tenant SaaS platform. You will drive architectural innovation, establish engineering excellence standards, and influence technology decisions at the organizational level.

You will mentor senior engineers and lead complex initiatives to ensure a scalable, high-performance frontend.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building large-scale front-end applications using React/Angular with React Native preferred.
• 3+ years in senior technical leadership roles, driving strategy and leading multiple engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in front-end architecture, micro-frontend strategies, and SaaS/multi-tenant systems.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, state management, performance optimization, and front-end security.
• Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks, CSS Grid/Flexbox, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git, SonarQube, and AWS.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Principal Software Engineer – Front End, you will set the technical vision and strategy for front‑end engineering across the multi‑tenant SaaS platform. You will drive architectural innovation, establish engineering excellence standards, and influence technology decisions at the organizational level. You will mentor senior engineers, lead complex technical initiatives, and ensure the platform scales while maintaining high performance, accessibility, and tenant customization capabilities.

Key Role Deliverables

Technical vision & strategy

• Define and drive front‑end technical vision, architecture strategy, and long‑term scalability standards
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform evolution and innovation in engineering practices
• Represent front‑end engineering in executive‑level technical strategy discussions

Architecture & system design

• Design and evolve enterprise‑scale front‑end architectures for multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
• Implement micro‑frontend strategies, shared component libraries, and design systems
• Ensure performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), and security best practices

Engineering excellence

• Establish and enforce code quality, testing, performance, and security standards
• Lead technical design reviews and architecture decisions for critical initiatives
• Define and track engineering metrics, SLIs/SLOs, and quality gates

Hands‑on technical leadership

• Implement complex, high‑impact features and reusable components in React and React Native
• Solve challenging technical problems and mentor senior engineers and technical leads
• Provide guidance on architecture, implementation, and best practices

DevOps & platform operations

• Define and manage CI/CD strategies and infrastructure for front‑end deployments
• Lead AWS deployment strategies and cloud architecture decisions for front‑end systems
• Establish monitoring, observability, and error tracking practices across the platform

Leadership & organizational impact

• Mentor multiple front‑end teams, drive hiring strategies, and build high‑performing teams.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
• Present technical strategies and architecture decisions to executive leadership and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Prerequisites

• 7+ years building large‑scale front‑end applications using React/Angular; strong experience with React Native preferred

Education & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience from premier Engineering institution (IIT/NIT/IIIT)). Advanced degrees strongly preferred.
