Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Principal Software Engineer (C#.NET with Azure) to join our global FinTech teams in Hyderabad. You will design, build, and test enterprise products within the Collateral Product Area, collaborating with colleagues across Europe and beyond.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, advanced testing, and architecture alignment. You will work in a self-organized scrum team, contribute to automation, and mentor engineers while leveraging a hybrid work policy.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of C# and Angular in enterprise settings.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and relational databases.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting of softwareengineers, whocollaborate closely with business experts. The teamis responsible fordeveloping and supporting a set of enterprise products within the Collateral Product Area. You are expected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, Austria, and Germany. After a comprehensive onboarding program, we expect you to:

• Design, develop, and test solutions fora newproductcapabilities.
• Create and implement teststrategyto ensure high quality of the product.
• Closely communicate and collaborate with Teams, Product Owners, and Architects follow and ensure architecture/technical roadmap & guidelines
• .Createand analyze functional and non-functional requirements during feature refinements.
• Ensure outstanding product support and proactively minimize it.
• Initiate technical and process enhancements in the team.
• Initiate and drive improvement of automation, tools, frameworks, etc.

• Extensiveexpertisein Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps , with the ability to develop and manage **CI/CD pipelines.**
• Rich experience with Cloud Infrastructures.
• Extensive knowledge and experience (10+ years) in C# andAngular.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategies and all level tests for software applications (E2E, API, UT).
• Understanding and adherence to XP practices (TDD, pair-programmingetc.)
• Readiness to learn APL.
• M.Sc. in Finance, Computer Science,Mathematicsor a similar field (will be a plus).
• Curiosity and readiness to learn and improve in-house tools and frameworks
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a team toward technical excellence and efficient delivery
• Good English skills (upper intermediate and higher), written as well as spoken

• Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, and others) fluently as part of your everydayworking routines.
• Critically evaluate AI-generatedartifacts— verifycorrectnessandarchitectural fit before accepting.
• Guide your team on responsible AI usage: when to trust it, when to override it, and how to review it carefully
• Identifywhere AI can accelerate prototyping cycles and reduce low-value work in the team.
