Qualifications

• Senior design engineering experience with leadership for multi-discipline projects.
• Experience in mineral beneficiation or hydrometallurgical processing and material handling.
• Ability to lead medium-sized teams in a cross-functional setup.

Responsibilities

• Guide disciplines for critical design document development.
• Chair project engineering reviews and ensure prompt notes/actions.
• Drive design reviews and 3D model reviews.
• Coordinate engineering change management across the project.

• Arrangeandchairoverallplotplanreview.Ensurethatnotesandactionsfromthisrevieware taken and issued promptly.
• ArrangeandchairweeklyProjectEngineeringmeeting.Ensurethatnotesandactionsfrom these meetings are taken and issued promptly.
• DriveMechanicalDesignReview
• Drive3Dmodelreview
• DeputiesforProjectEngineeringManagerandundertakeplannedProjectEngineering Manager's responsibilities where authority is appropriately delegated.
• ReviewprogressregularlywithLeadDisciplineEngineersandAreaProjectEngineers, understand key issues preventing progress and assist in resolving these issues.
• AppraiseProjectEngineeringManagerofallissuesimpactingonqualityandkeyissues affecting progress.
• ProvideinputintotheProjectNeedsList,RiskRegister,ActionLogandTechnicalDecision Log and assist in the preparation of project instructions.
• CoordinateengineeringchangemanagementactivitiesacrossthewholeProject,Generate Project specific procedures and instructions relating to Project Engineering
• Reviewandapprovesubcontractrequisitions.
• CoordinateEngineeringinputtodocumentdistributionmatrixandensurematrixisregularly reviewed and updated.
• Identifyfilingsystemsrequirementsandensuretheseareproperlydocumented.
• Coordinatethecaptureofallengineeringlessonslearnedensuringthatthesearesubmitted into the Company system for corporate review.
• MonitorstatusofactionsarisingfromQAanddepartmentalauditsandexpeditetheirclosure where required.

Qualifications

Skilland qualification

• PostgraduateinEngineering(Desirable)
• MembershipinProfessionalOrganizations(Desirable)
• Aminimumof10yearsofexperienceinDesignEngineeringenvironmentwithleadrolefor 7 years in discipline project execution (Essential) in mineral beneficiation process processing and material handling projects process/hydrometallurgical processing and material handling projects
• Abilitytoleadmediumteamsinamulti-disciplinetaskforce-basedengineering/lumpsum services environment.
• Provenexpertisein,Pre-Feasibilitystudies,Feasibilitystudies,FEEDandEPCEngineering execution including Field Engineering in forPhosphate-Beneficiation, Phosphate Granularization, Phosphoric and Sulphuric Acid projects
• Performs most assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected.ReceivestechnicalguidancefromEngineeringSpecialistsorSupervisorson unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
