Responsibilities

• Lead CX and UX benchmark studies, customer surveys and market research to identify opportunities
• Drive product mechanisms to understand customer needs and CX defects, partnering with Tech teams
• Launch use cases for products and coordinate with partner teams to integrate CTAs
• Articulate complex problems and determine prioritized actions with senior stakeholders

This Leader primary goal is to have more people shop on Amazon. Focused on staying ahead of evolving customer behaviors through innovations in agentic/conversational shopping, customer segmentation, persona development, and cohort-level personalization. This pillar serves as Amazon's forward-looking customer intelligence engine, building 0-to-1 capabilities to identify intent and unmet needs before customers articulate them.
They will build a deep understanding of how customers are behaving inside and outside Amazon and their needs. They will lead CX and UX benchmark studies, Customer Surveys and research and Market research to identify these opportunities. They will lead product mechanisms to understand customer and their needs, the defect in CX experience and root cause it and work closely with Tech teams to scale them. They will lead use case launches for these products and also drive conversation with partner teams to integrate these products as CTAs (call to action) for them.
The Principal Product Manager is a bar-raising communicator, both verbal and written, and is a well-respected leader within the business. This role requires the ability to influence across stakeholder teams to drive alignment and requires a highly effective and established leader to navigate effectively and develop the team. This role requires clear articulation of complex problems and proposed solutions and requires high judgement to ensure the right leaders are involved in decisions and regularly informed on progress. This role aligns teams towards clear priorities and advocates for investment delivering large, complex business initiatives, with clear mechanisms that audit progress towards shared goals and regularly reports results to ensure long-term business success. This leader collaborates across VP-level organizations to join forces on shared business priorities.
