Alcon is seeking a Principal I, Product Development, Security & Operations (DevSecOps) to lead secure product development and optimize workflows within Salesforce Data Cloud-driven data platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; 6+ years total experience
• 2+ years with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) including data modeling, integration, segmentation
• Proficiency in Salesforce APIs, ETL/ELT tools & connectors
• Experience with real-time data processing architectures
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and Salesforce Einstein
• Understanding of data governance, privacy and regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, GxP)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred

The Principal I, Product Development, Security & Operations (DevSecOps) (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for leading the design and optimization of secure product development and operational processes, integrating security within the software development lifecycle, and ensuring systems are efficient and scalable.

Specifics include:

• Lead the integration of security measures into product development and operational workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines and automate processes across development and operations
• Ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and supports efficient product delivery
• Provide technical guidance on infrastructure management, security best practices, and automation tools
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance security and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain scalable data models and structures in Salesforce Data 360
• Design, build, and optimize real-time data pipelines from Salesforce and external sources
• Implement advanced segmentation, identity resolution, and audience activation workflows
• Integrate AI-driven insights and automation to enhance business outcomes
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with Alcon and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and document technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Stay current with Salesforce Data 360, AI, and integration best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of total experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP/Data 360), including data modeling, integration, and segmentation
• Proficiency in Salesforce APIs, ETL/ELT tools, and connectors
• Experience with real-time data processing, architectures
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and Salesforce Einstein
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, GxP)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, and writing complex SQL Sentences
• Familiarity with agile development and DevOps practices
• Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma) is a plus
