State Street is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for the Paradigm team in Hyderabad, India. You will work on Classic and Next Gen CRIMS Client Application, building high-performance low-latency trading systems with full observability.

You will contribute to IMS modules using React for frontend and Java for backend, collaborating with support and other development teams across cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 11-15 years of software engineering experience mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services domain including OMS/EMS exposure.
• Working knowledge of Desktop applications built in .Net, WinForms and WPF.

This position requires working on multiple strategic and key initiatives including NextGen UI Framework and Components, building a high performing low latency trading system with full observability capabilities. This is a full-time position for the Paradigm team located at our Hyderabad Office in India.

This position requires working on multiple strategic and key initiatives including NextGen UI Framework and Components, building a high performing low latency trading system with full observability capabilities. This is a full-time position for the Paradigm team located at our Hyderabad Office in India.

Why is this role important to us.

The Senior Full Stack Engineer will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of one or more Charles River Investment Management Solution ("IMS") modules or components and help build components, frameworks for our next gen version of IMS using React for Frontend and Java for backend services that are cloud native. This position will also provide engineering assistance to customer support teams and other development teams within Charles River Development.

What You Will Be Responsible For.

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug large and complex software enhancements and solutions within Charles River's business and technical problem domains, including modifications to core frameworks and other primary facilities critical to system operations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to create working and sustainable software of high complexity and low latency.
• Direct problem solving for projects or major phases of projects to resolve advanced software technical issues.
• Develop, test, debug, and implement software using cloud computing, java, React, JavaScript, GenAI, and other related software engineering languages.
• Provide informed guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during code reviews.
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure a high-quality performant product.
• Identify ways of improving the development of test methodologies and related test methodology frameworks.
• Conduct manual tests to ensure a high-quality product.
• Actively assist team leaders in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

What We Value

• Expertise in Software Engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience in cloud native (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience in Internet Protocols (HTTP), Front-end frameworks for the Web including React, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery.
• Demonstrated experience with API styles like REST, RPC, gRPC or OpenAPI
• Experience in Native and External Web-Browser controls.
• Demonstrate knowledge of development tools like Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, etc.
• Experience in core Java – Multithreading, Exception Handling, Memory management etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Oracle.
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities involving multi-tiered, high-performance database applications.
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop software solutions to business and technical problems of high complexity.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
