Purpose of the Role

The Principal Enterprise Architect will serve as a senior technology leader aligning closely with the Enterprise CoE for Automation, Autonomy, and Legacy Modernisation. The role is responsible for architecting modernization blueprints, leading solution design, and ensuring coherent technology strategy across workflow automation, cloud migration, enterprise network automation, and OSS transformation. This is a hands‑on strategic role that shapes modernization outcomes for key customers while supporting business growth and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture Leadership
  • Architect solutions across Workflow Automation, AI-driven enterprise autonomy, and modernization of legacy stacks.
  • Proficiency in IBM Products – Concert workflow, HCIM.
  • Develop high‑level and low‑level architecture designs, governance frameworks, and reference models.
CoE Alignment & Solutioning
  • Work closely with the Enterprise CoE Head to translate CoE offerings into scalable, repeatable solution architectures.
  • Support the creation of reusable accelerators, blueprints, and modernization playbooks.
  • Ensure architectural consistency across all CoE-driven programs.
Sales, Presales & Customer Engagement
  • Partner with presales to shape solutions, respond to RFPs, define technical proposals, and present architectural approaches to customers.
  • Engage with CXOs, architects, and customer engineering teams to guide modernization strategy.
  • Support deal qualification, scoping, estimation, and solution positioning.
Technology Portfolio Expertise
  • Architect and lead initiatives across:
  • Cloud Migration (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Enterprise Network Automation
  • SDN/SD‑WAN & B2B rollout frameworks (optional but preferred)
  • OSS/BSS and enterprise legacy modernisation
  • Event‑driven architectures, digital twins, and automation workflows
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies relevant to automation and AI‑led modernization.
Governance & Delivery Assurance
  • Define architecture governance, guardrails, and compliance‑by‑design frameworks.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and quality checks across programs.
  • Guide delivery teams in executing legacy modernization programs.
Partnership & Ecosystem Support
  • Work with the Global Partnerships Team to validate partner capabilities and integrate partner technologies into enterprise solution stacks.
  • Influence joint solution development with cloud, network, and automation ecosystem partners.
