Job summary

Unisys in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement advanced networking solutions using C# and .NET. You will work in a Windows-centric environment, focusing on troubleshooting and performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior teams, governance, and adoption of new technologies, with opportunities to contribute IP and training for staff across major product areas.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 8+ years' experience, Master’s degree preferred.
• Solid knowledge in C# and .NET for the networking domain.
• Experience in Windows environments, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Unisys Clear Path MCP/OS 2200 systems is a plus.

What success looks like in this role:

Solid technical knowledge in C# programming languages and .NET for the networking domain Required to have good working knowledge on building, debugging and troubleshooting on a Windows environment. Experience in Unisys Clear Path MCP/OS 2200 systems will be an added advantage Leverages subject matter expertise to lead in the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program / product areas.

• Leverages subject matter expertise to lead in the design and development of significant and technically challenging efforts across major program / product areas.
• Defines architectural standards, tools and methodologies to ensure technical consistency and quality across the company’s functional applications.
• Identifies, adapts and applies new technologies that can help improve systems overall.
• Collaborates with senior members of development / functional departments across the company to share experiences and knowledge and to identify ways to simplify and integrate products.
• Works with management on the development of Software Engineering governance / performance management processes.
• Helps define, develop and deliver training and education for systems users, Software Engineering colleagues, allied groups and other stakeholders.
• Identifies proprietary intellectual property and recommends patent applications. #LI-LS1

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Master’s degree preferred
