Job summary

Egis in Bengaluru is seeking a Principal Engineer specializing in roads and highways to lead design and delivery of large-scale transport projects. You will mentor junior engineers, drive innovative, sustainable solutions, and ensure compliance with design standards.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to project proposals, and stay current with industry trends while traveling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in road and highway engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of road and highway design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
• Experience delivering BIM Infrastructure projects and liaising with multi-disciplines.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of design standards and regulations.
• Expertise in sustainable and innovative road construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; mentoring junior engineers.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
