Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior electrical design professional to lead technical input across ME/UK projects, ensuring quality and cost-effective solutions. The role requires coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and delivering PS&E package components using industry standards.

Ideal candidates bring 10–16 years in design, familiarity with BS/AM standards, and potential EC UK accreditations, with healthcare/data center experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 10–16 years of design experience in ME and/or UK projects.
• Awareness of BS and American standards and region regulations.
• Postgraduate in Electrical and IEng or CEng accreditations from EC, UK are advantageous.
• Experience on healthcare and data center projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical advisor for the team in your area of expertise.
• Provide specialized technical input to studies and design.
• Develop study and design procedures for high-quality cost-effective work.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
• Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts.

Job Description

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Proficiency in software applications like Amtech, Electrical OM, Dialux, AGi32, Revit, Navis, AutoCAD etc. is desirable.

Qualifications

10-16 years of design experience in ME and / or UK projects in different sectors like mixed use developments, rail is preferred.

• Awareness of BS and American standards along with region regulations is essential.
• Candidates with post graduations in Electrical and IEng or CEng accreditations from EC, UK are advantageous.
• Candidates with experience on healthcare and data center projects are advantageous.
