Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s in electrical engineering.
• 12-18 years of experience in electrical design.
• Chartership with a UK Engineering Institution preferred.
• Knowledge of BS7671 and City & Guilds requirements.
• Experience in rail station environments, familiar with Network Rail, TfL & LUL standards.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project electrical design and rail design assurance.
• Understanding of project lifecycle phases (LUL, GRIP, RIBA).
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for railway stations, from concept to detailed design.
• Design LV reticulation, distribution, and UPS systems.
• Design lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Design cable management systems, perform sizing calculations, and present results.
• Use AMTECH/Electrical OM software for system design and component selection.
• Prepare technical documents, specifications, and commissioning plans.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise design work.
• Liaise with UK offices for project budgeting and scheduling.
• Ensure discipline compatibility across project teams.
• Lead and develop team members, evaluate progress, and resolve conflicts.
