Job summary

Innovecture in Gurugram, India, seeks a Principal Engineer - Devops Architect to lead CI/CD initiatives across clinical software teams. This is a remote position in India, requiring deep technical expertise and leadership to design scalable build, test and deployment infrastructure and to drive secure delivery of high-quality software.

With 10+ years of experience, you will coordinate across time zones, mentor engineers, and shape DevOps strategy for global projects at Innovecture.

Qualifications

• Strong Python in Linux environments.
• Experience creating and managing Docker images.
• Demonstrated experience with using Git and managing GitLab CI.
• Experience with configuration management.
• Linux system administration (systemd, filesystem setup, network configuration).
• Familiarity with integrating web services into CI workflows.
• Familiarity with Perforce and SWARM is a plus.
• Experience with Qt and QBS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI architecture development for clinical application teams.
• Support the DevOps team through planning, backlog grooming, code reviews and technical assistance.

A. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The DevOps Architect serves as the technical leader responsible for defining, developing, and

evolving Continuous Integration (CI) and DevOps capabilities that support clinical software

development teams. This role drives the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable,

reliable, and secure build, test, and deployment infrastructure, enabling engineering teams to

deliver high-quality software efficiently and consistently.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead CI architecture development for the clinical application teams
• Support the DevOps team through planning, backlog grooming, code reviews and
• technical assistance
• Develop and evaluate CI improvements, evaluate concepts for future capabilities

C. QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid background with Python programming in a Linux environment
• Demonstrated experience with creating and managing Docker images
• Demonstrated experience with using Git and managing GitLab CI
• Demonstrated experience with configuration management

• configuration)
• Familiarity with using and integrating web services into the CI
• Familiarity with Perforce and SWARM is a plus

• Willingness to support teams across time zones
