Job summary

KPIT Technologies Ltd. is seeking a lead Embedded Systems Engineer to drive architecture, design, and testing of networking device software stacks, including embedded firmware and drivers, for automotive applications.

The role involves developing firmware for communication devices and networking hardware, with a focus on safety-critical systems and automated testing practices. It offers opportunities across mobility tech and collaboration with OEMs.

Qualifications

• Embedded C development on multicore platforms
• C and C++ (14 or 17) proficiency
• Experience with FreeRTOS
• Firmware development experience
• Ethernet communication – L1 and L2 layers
• SPI communication protocol experience

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration of networking device software stack including embedded firmware, kernel/user mode device drivers, stack extensions, debug and test utilities.
• Develop firmware for communication devices, networking hardware, and safety-critical automotive applications.
• Design and implement automated unit and system testing to ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and best development practices.
