Job summary

Valeo Service in Chennai seeks a Principal Discipline Engineer for Cybersecurity to oversee the cybersecurity lifecycle of automotive products and ensure compliance with UNECE WP29 R155 and ISO/SAE 21434. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary cybersecurity activities across system, hardware, software and production teams.

You will work with customers and internal stakeholders to define system requirements, develop security architectures for ADAS, and lead security reviews and pre-reviews while

Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive industry and embedded cybersecurity.
• Understanding of ISO 21434 and threat analyses.
• Knowledge of SW architecture for microcontrollers and AUTOSAR/Linux/Android.
• Experience implementing security controls (secure boot/update/diagnostic).
• Experience in security testing and product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CyberSecurity lifecycle process per UNECE WP29 R155 and ISO/SAE 21434.
• Elicit CyberSecurity requirements with customers and stakeholders.
• Develop cyber security system/architecture requirements for ADAS products.
• Maintain cyber security development plan and track activities through project end.
• Coordinate cyber security engineer activities and reviews.
• Plan internal cyber security reviews with the Functional CyberSecurity Assessor.

Ensure that product meets all cyber security requirements for the project*** **Coordinate the related cyber security engineer activities (plan / track / review / approve) in-line with defined Cyber security methodology and working packages allocated to CyberSecurity Engineer(s)*** **Plan internal Cyber security reviews and Cyber security formal review with the Functional CyberSecurity Assessor (FSeA)*** **Ensure the effective communication between P1/P10 projects and P3/P2/Platform projects FCSM for all relevant working packages*** **Support analysing and proposing solutions where applicable for full Cybersecurity Chain required, involving -OEM, Tier1, Supplier in R&D and Manufacturing*** **Support specifying requirements for products in development and production within cybersecurity network ie. Specific supplier requirements, Testing requirements, Manufacturing Requirements*** **Perform Per-review and Design Review for the security work products.*** **Responsible for handling Cybersecurity manager activities for Complex/Advanced products.
