Principal Consultant- QA Automation Engineer - ITO095378

We are looking for a senior, hands-on technical leader to design and implement the next generation of our Quality Engineering strategy in the healthcare product suite. This role is for test automation to address complex quality challenges. You will define the roadmap, build proof-of-concepts, write code, mentor engineers, and ensure our systems scale efficiently while meeting strict healthcare compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end QA automation strategy and roadmap for EverHealth’s product portfolio.
- Architect and maintain scalable, resilient test automation frameworks.
- Evaluate, select, and implement modern tools for automation and test data management.
- Lead by example with hands-on development of automation scripts and frameworks.
- Perform deep-dive performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with Dev/DevOps to deliver high-performance solutions.
- Integrate automation and performance testing within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Review QA engineers’ code to ensure testability, maintainability, and efficiency.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Development leads to embed quality into design and delivery.
- Participate in architectural reviews, advising on performance, scalability, and testability.
- Ensure all testing practices comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Incorporate security and vulnerability testing into the performance and automation strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- A senior role focusing on test automation using Playwright.
- Proven experience designing and building test automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Playwright.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Deep experience with API testing methodologies and tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of AI/ML concepts within a software testing context.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps principles.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is preferred. Knowledge of the healthcare domain, including EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations, is valuable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company.
- Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
