Job summary

OpenText, the Information Company, seeks a Principal Consultant to lead enterprise InfoArchive deployments and governance initiatives. You will architect scalable solutions, guide customers, and drive successful implementations across on‑premises and cloud environments from Bengaluru or nearby.

You will mentor teams, influence pre‑sales discussions, and leverage InfoArchive certification paths to deliver robust archiving strategies for global clients.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of enterprise content management and archiving experience.
• Deep hands-on in OpenText InfoArchive installation, administration and upgrades.
• Experience deploying InfoArchive on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong Java/J2EE, HTML/JavaScript, and web tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of InfoArchive deployments.
• Act as technical advisor to customers throughout projects.
• Define project plans with PMs, risk strategies, and roadmaps.
• Mentor consulting teams and support pre-sales.
• Manage on-prem, private, and public cloud deployments.

Your Impact
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering OpenText InfoArchive solutions for enterprise customers. You will work closely with customers, project managers, and consulting teams to design scalable architectures, lead implementations, and drive successful digital archiving and information governance initiatives.

What the role offers

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of OpenText InfoArchive implementations.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers throughout project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project plans, risk mitigation strategies, quality processes, and implementation roadmaps.
• Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into robust solution architectures.
• Mentor and lead consulting teams during customer engagements.
• Participate in pre-sales discussions, technical presentations, proposals, and solution demonstrations.
• Work on enterprise-scale deployments across on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments.
• Opportunity to gain and leverage OpenText Proven Certification in InfoArchive Administration.

What you need to succeed

• 12-15 years of experience in enterprise content management, archiving, or related technologies.
• Strong expertise in OpenText InfoArchive installation, administration, configuration, and upgrades.
• Experience deploying and managing InfoArchive solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with InfoArchive Shell, SIP SDK, REST Architecture, Gateway, and Web Applications.
• Strong understanding of table archiving, data record archiving, file archiving, and compound business record archiving.
• Experience with cloud and on-premises InfoArchive upgrade projects.
• Strong Java/J2EE development skills with experience in HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, and related web technologies.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Content Bridge, OpenText Integration Center, Talend, or similar solutions used for SIP creation.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, xDB, and general RDBMS concepts.
• Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting, application installation, retention policies, encryption, and data masking.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure sizing, virtualization, systems architecture, and deployment planning.
• Knowledge of ECM platforms such as Documentum, OpenText Content Server, and CCM is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP and PeopleSoft integrations is a plus.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
