Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. seeks a Principal Compensation Analyst to lead market research, benchmark compensation practices, and support salary strategy across our organization.

You will analyze data from external surveys, maintain salary ranges, and develop detailed reports for senior HR leadership, while driving process improvements and exploring AI-enhanced benchmarking. This role requires strong Excel skills, survey platform experience, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with compensation survey platforms.
• Experience with Payfactors is a plus.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles and best practices.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings to senior management and HR stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed reports and presentations showcasing compensation trends, market positioning, and recommendations for salary adjustments.
• Maintain salary ranges based on market data in alignment with company strategy.
• Annually review survey participation and budget and make recommendations for changes.
• Manage the annual survey matching process. Own the relationship with our survey providers. Maintain and enhance our market database.
• Explore new ways of working leveraging AI in benchmarking.
