Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architect to join our design teams in India. You will maintain liaison with design and drafting groups, review and approve drawings, and perform advanced technical assignments within project schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor or Master in Architecture, 10–13 years of experience (Middle East/US/UK exposure desirable), strong communication, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. We offer hybrid work and a culture of growth.

Job description

Here is what you will do:

• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
• May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
• May review and approve conceptual designs.
• May assist in the development of new architectural methods and techniques.

Here's what we're looking for:

A Bachelor of Architecture or Masters in Architecture is required.

Applicants are required to have between 10-13 years of experience in Architecture in Middle East/US/UK experience would be desirable but are not essential.

Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times.

Should have good skills in software like Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation and other related design software.

Able to see the "bigger picture" and take a birds-eye view of projects.
