Job summary

Amar Seva Sangam invites applications for the role of Principal at Amar Seva Saradambal ITI in Tamil Nadu. The incumbent will lead the academic, administrative and operational aspects, ensuring effective delivery of training programs and a safe, inclusive learning environment for Divyang students.

The candidate will coordinate examinations, attendance, student discipline, staff performance and lead teaching and administrative teams towards continuous quality improvement while ensuring NCVT/NSDC

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Engineering degree in the relevant discipline.
• Experience in the education sector or ITI environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership and administrative capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic, administrative and operational management of Amar Seva Saradambal ITI.
• Ensure delivery of training programmes and a safe, inclusive learning environment for Divyang students.
• Ensure compliance with NCVT, NSDC and other statutory and institutional requirements, and coordinate inspections and reporting.

BSc in Computer Science/IT

Key Responsibilities

The Principal will be responsible for the overall academic, administrative and operational management of Amar Seva Saradambal ITI, ensuring effective delivery of training programmes and a safe, inclusive learning environment for Divyang students. The role includes planning and monitoring academic activities, training schedules, examinations, attendance, student discipline and staff performance.

The Principal will ensure compliance with NCVT, NSDC and other applicable statutory and institutional requirements, maintain required records and coordinate inspections, audits and reporting. The role will also support student counselling, career development, industry exposure, apprenticeships and placement activities.

The position will provide leadership to teaching and administrative teams and ensure continuous improvement in the quality, effectiveness and outcomes of the ITI.
