Job summary

IQVIA in Bengaluru seeks an experienced PMR analyst to support end-to-end quantitative Primary Market Research projects across therapy areas, including ATU studies, demand estimation, and market assessments.

You will design questionnaires, perform data analysis, develop client-friendly PowerPoint templates, and craft compelling narratives addressing key business questions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in consulting/market research within pharma
• Experience in HealthCare sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, biotech, or services
• Strong interpretation and analysis of quantitative, qualitative data
• Ability to link client needs to data and its application
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end delivery of quantitative PMR projects across therapy areas including ATU, demand estimation, and market assessments
• Design and refine questionnaires and discussion guides with input from seniors to meet objectives
• Conduct data analysis, review tabulations, code open-ended responses, and validate outputs
• Develop PowerPoint templates and client deliverables, turning findings into clear narratives
• Provide progress updates to project leads and contribute to discussions on implications and recommendations
• Perform quality control and final review to ensure accuracy and client readiness
• Manage stakeholder communications via emails, presentations, and conference calls
• Demonstrate ownership with minimal supervision, maintaining quality and timelines
• Contribute to personal capability development through continuous learning and improvement
• Work across Healthcare sectors to build strong industry understanding and stay current on trends

Job Responsibility:

• Support the end-to-end delivery of quantitative Primary Market Research (PMR) projects across diverse therapy areas, including studies such as ATU, demand estimation, market assessments, patient flow, patient journey/buying process, segmentation, and other strategic research initiatives.
• Design and refine questionnaires and discussion guides, incorporating guidance from senior team members to ensure research objectives are effectively addressed.
• Conduct robust data analysis, including reviewing tabulations, coding open-ended responses, developing table specifications, and validating outputs, ensuring findings are accurate, insightful, and methodologically sound
• Develop PowerPoint report templates and client deliverables, synthesizing research findings into clear, compelling narratives that address key business questions and support strategic decision-making
• Provide regular progress updates to project leads and managers, while contributing to internal discussions on research findings, implications, and recommendations.
• Perform thorough quality control and final review of project outputs to ensure all deliverables are accurate, error-free, and client-ready
• Effectively manage stakeholder communication and support project lead in client communications through emails, presentations, and conference calls
• Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability as an individual contributor, delivering high quality work with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines
• Actively contribute to personal capability development through continuous learning and performance improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility and curiosity to work across a broad range of sectors within the Healthcare industry, including Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Services, developing a strong understanding of industry trends and business challenges

Technical/Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences; MBA preferred
• Relevant Experience of 3-4 years. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in consulting and market research within the pharmaceutical domain
• Experience/ academic background for sectors encompassing HealthCare industry (Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Healthcare services)
• Experienced with quantitative PMR research and on a variety of therapy areas
• High skills of interpretation and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and integration of different sources of data assets)
• Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application
• Experience in designing/ developing questionnaire and discussion guide as per client’s objective
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
• Should be very comfortable with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
