Job summary

Johnson Controls in India seeks a pricing and ERP specialist to configure ERP modules (SAP/JDE), lead BRD/FRD documentation, and deliver data-driven insights. You will own reporting, pricing analyses, and process improvements across pricing, revenue, supply chain, and manufacturing functions.

The role requires six years in pricing, strong ERP/tool proficiency (SAP/JDE, Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Visio), and excellent communication. On-site Pune location with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or other quantitative related fields.
• Minimum of six years relevant experience working in a pricing role.
• Experience using ERP tools (SAP, JDE etc.), Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, report writing tools, and business process mapping software (e.g., Visio).
• Ability to synthesize data, research, and analyses into simple, concise, accessible, and actionable insights.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Strong verbal, written, project management and presentation communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Experience interfacing and collaborating with peers, management, and other departments

Responsibilities

• Configure ERP solutions, maintain ERP modules and functionality to meet business needs.
• Act as the primary SME for specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.), CRM tools (SFDC), translating operational requirements into system requirements.
• Analyze "As-Is" processes, design "To-Be" solutions, and lead business process mapping to ensure system alignment with standardized operational needs and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), SOPs, workflows, process documents and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
• Triage system issues, perform root cause analysis, and create training documentation for end-users.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Work with functional departments (Pricing teams, Order management) and streamline processes across teams.
• Strong understanding of business processes like pricing, revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance.
• Establish scalable, efficient, user-centric, and automated processes for large scale data analyses to support business processes and decision-making.
• Develop research and analysis on various dimensions of pricing system admin strategy, which will be used to create narratives and principles.
