Job summary

Johnson Controls Ltd. is seeking a Pricing Analyst to optimize pricing strategies and ERP-driven processes across multiple business functions. You will configure ERP modules, serve as SME for SAP/JDE and SFDC CRM, and translate data into actionable insights for leadership.

Qualified candidates hold a quantitative bachelor's (Masters preferred) and have at least six years in pricing roles, with strong Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau skills. This role offers growth in a global, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Six years minimum experience in pricing roles.
  • Experience with ERP tools (SAP, JDE, etc.), Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to synthesize data into concise, actionable insights.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Configure ERP modules and maintain ERP functionality.
  • Act as SME for ERP modules (SAP, JDE) and CRM (SFDC).
  • Analyze As-Is processes and design To-Be solutions; lead process mapping.
  • Develop BRDs, SOPs, workflows, and FRDs.
  • Support and train end-users; triage system issues.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with Pricing teams and Order management to streamline processes.
  • Apply pricing knowledge to drive revenue management and automation.
  • Provide findings to leadership with clear recommendations.

What you will do:
  • System Administration & Configuration: Configure ERP solutions, maintain ERP modules and functionality to meet business needs.
  • Functional Expertise: Act as the primary SME for specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE etc.), CRM tools (SFDC), translating operational requirements into system requirements.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze "As-Is" processes, design "To-Be" solutions, and lead business process mapping to ensure system alignment with standardized operational needs and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Requirement Documentation: Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), SOPs, workflows, process documents and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
  • Support & Training: Triage system issues, perform root cause analysis, and create training documentation for end-users.
  • Reporting & Data Analytics: Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaboration: Work with functional departments (Pricing teams, Order management) and streamline processes across teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes like pricing, revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance.
  • Automation: Establish scalable, efficient, user-centric, and automated processes for large scale data analyses to support business processes and decision-making.
  • Pricing Insights & Perspectives: Develop research and analysis on various dimensions of pricing system admin strategy, which will be used to create a series of connected narratives and principles to engage a broad set of internal and external audiences.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Support: Support cross-functional teams across the company to resolve complex issues that typically require verbal, written, and visual communication with proposed recommendations presented to leadership in a simple, logical, and succinct manner.
What we look for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or other quantitative related fields
  • Minimum of six years relevant experience working in a pricing role
  • Experience using ERP tools (SAP, JDE etc.), Excel, SAS, SQL, Power BI or Tableau, report writing tools, and business process mapping software (e.g., Visio)
  • Ability to synthesize data, research, and analyses into simple, concise, accessible, and actionable insights.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal, written, project management and presentation communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience interfacing and collaborating with peers, management, and other departments
