Overview
What this Job Entails: The Pricing Analyst III contributes to the profitability of the company by providing thorough and competitive cost/pricing analysis in the bid and proposal process. The successful candidate must be able to manage the overall cost/pricing process, while ensuring the effective analysis of customer requirements, development of competitive bid pricing and contribution to winning proposals. When not working on bid/proposals, the Pricing Analyst will provide financial reporting support to stakeholders as required.

- Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of their specialty
- Works on problems of a diverse scope
- Receives little instruction on day to day work, general instruction on new assignments
Your Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
- Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, client level P&L, objectives and KPIs
- Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
- Work with the sales and delivery teams to define pricing structure for company services offered
- Able to effectively read and understand technical/requirement documents as well as legal documents such as customer contracts
- Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition
- Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels

Required Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Proven experience developing clear and accurate deliverables from SME and technical source materials
- Prior experience building pricing models
- Must be able to think critically and develop well-reasoned analysis; identify the relevance and importance of information, understand the logical connections between ideas, and solve problems systematically as well as creatively
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build consensus and partnership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to RFP responses
- Experience working and delivering to the SDLC process
- Experience with data analytics
- Experience in managed service and technology
- Experience in creating sales reports and sales forecasts
- Experience in interpreting market trends
Physical Demand & Work Environment
- Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
- Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
- Must be able to use a computer
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively
