IT Support Role

To provide on-site and call support for Desktop, Laptop, business applications, Mobile devices, and Printers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support and resolve technology platform issues including the latest Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Windows 10 & 11, desktops, laptops, and printers (Stand Alone and Multi-Function).
  2. Have working knowledge of Apple systems – iPad, Macbook Pro, and iMac.
  3. Troubleshooting experience on Network-related issues – Wifi configuration, Network Switch, DHCP, and DNS.
  4. Provide investigation, diagnosis, and resolution for hardware/software problems.
  5. Experience in installing and supporting collaboration tools like Webex, Google Meeting, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
  6. Prioritize calls to provide support for high business impact.
  7. Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.
  8. Respond and interact with users in a timely and professional manner through emails.
  9. Record incidents in the Help Desk tool and close requests with proper resolution.
  10. Resolve LAN issues/WAN connectivity and others as assigned.
  11. Provide technical support on deploying new equipment.
  12. Follow up with the vendor on hardware break-fix and ensure hardware is delivered in working condition within the time frame.
  13. Continuous improvement in the work area and updates on new technologies.
  14. Provide ongoing support on telephone extension movement and assignment.
  15. Coordinate with internet service providers for ongoing support and service restoration.
  16. Monitor and maintain EPABX call backup on a daily basis.
  17. Other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
