Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a hands-on professional with BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering to oversee forging operations on the shop floor. You will independently manage shifts, drive productivity and quality improvements, and coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown work.

You should have strong RCA skills, familiarity with TPM/5S/Kaizen, and be comfortable reporting in English with Hindi communication ability. Shift work and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on forging industry experience and exposure to heavy engineering environments.
• Knowledge of forging processes, parameters and production requirements.
• Ability to manage shift operations independently and meet targets.
• Familiarity with TPM, 5S, Kaizen and continuous-improvement practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and report preparation in English.
• Good communication in Hindi and English; strong reporting skills.

• Hands-on experience in the forging industry with exposure to heavy engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Sound understanding of forging processes, parameters, and production requirements.

• Good knowledge of forging equipment, presses, manipulators, furnaces, and material handling systems.
• Capable of coordinating with Maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
