Job description: Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Preschool teacher for our preschool centre in Kancheepuram. Role to ensure high-quality education delivery, and maintain a safe, engaging environment for children aged 1.5-6 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery : Implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on Montessori or play-based learning principles.
• Classroom Management : Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that stimulates learning.
• Student Assessment : Observe and document children's progress, identifying areas for growth and celebrating milestones.
• Parent Communication : Provide regular updates to parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Creative Activity Planning : Organize and lead activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
• Safety & Supervision : Ensure the health and safety of all children at all times, following school protocols and hygiene standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background : Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Montessori Training, or a related field.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience & Empathy : A genuine love for working with young children and the ability to manage diverse behavioral needs with a calm demeanor.
• Creativity : Ability to design engaging visual aids and interactive learning experiences.
• Reliability : Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule for the students.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting.
