Job Title

Preschool Curriculum Designer (Assignments & Assessments)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Integration

  • Collaborate with curriculum developers to ensure assignments and assessments align with the preschool curriculum framework.
  • Incorporate thematic and interdisciplinary approaches to encourage holistic child development.

2. Assignment Development

  • Design engaging, age-appropriate assignments that build foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, social interaction, and motor development.
  • Integrate play-based learning, art, music, and hands-on activities to enhance engagement and creativity.
  • Ensure assignments align with developmental milestones and educational goals.

3. Assessment Design

  • Create both formative and summative assessment tools to evaluate children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
  • Develop inclusive and child-friendly evaluation techniques, such as observation checklists and activity-based assessments.
  • Ensure assessments are adaptable to diverse learner needs and non-intimidating for young children.

4. Monitoring and Feedback

  • Regularly review and refine assignments and assessments based on educator feedback and classroom observations.
  • Develop effective methods to identify and address individual strengths, interests, and areas requiring support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, or Educational Psychology.
  • Proven experience in creating curriculum materials, assignments, or assessments for preschool-aged children.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories, play-based learning, and assessment strategies.
