Job summary

Hitachi Vantara India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for presales and design of complex enterprise solutions. You will translate business needs into robust architectures across cloud, data analytics, and IoT domains, guiding projects from design through deployment.

You will lead technical discussions, mentor junior architects, and ensure adherence to architectural principles while collaborating with clients and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions across cloud, data analytics, IoT, and enterprise apps.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
• Expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IaaS, PaaS, serverless.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

As a Solution Architect at Hitachi Vantara India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative and robust technology solutions that address complex business challenges for our clients. You will play a crucial role in translating business requirements into technical architectures and ensuring the successful implementation of these solutions.

• Lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise solutions, including defining technical specifications, data models, integration strategies, and deployment plans.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet solution requirements and architectural principles.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including high-level designs, low-level designs, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.
• Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including presenting technical solutions to prospective clients and contributing to proposals.
• Mentor junior architects and technical team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect role, preferably within a consulting or enterprise software environment.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise-grade solutions across various domains (e.g., cloud, data analytics, IoT, enterprise applications).
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, API-first).
• Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
• strong technical knowledge in storage, server, backup, AI, cyber resiliency, disaster recovery, virtualization solutions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
