Job summary

Tech Data APAC in Mumbai seeks a Presales Consultant to support the Sales Team with presales technical expertise, tailored demonstrations, and qualification discussions with customers and prospects.

You will conduct technical POCs, demonstrations, and presentations on supported products and solutions, while training partners and contributing to RFP/RFI responses as needed.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of vendor products and general networking/infra technologies.
• Good network and security knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; able to simplify complex technology.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Able to multi-task and handle high volume of requests, including unplanned ones.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account/Product Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing presales technical support.
• Provide pre-sales technical support and deliver deep dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.
• Deliver training to partners on products and solutions.
• Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses.
• Conduct customer demonstrations and presentations.
• Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC) and assets.
• Participate in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested.
• Recommend and influence market content.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
