Presales Consultant- Netapp – Tech Data APAC
Presales Consultant is responsible for providing pre‑sales technical support to the Sales team, presenting tailored demonstrations or qualification discussions to customers and prospects, assisting with qualifying opportunities, and conducting technical proof of concept, demonstrations, and presentations on supported products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist Account/Product Managers with opportunity qualification by providing pre‑sales technical support.
- Deliver deep‑dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.
- Deliver training to partners on product solutions.
- Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses.
- Conduct customer demonstrations and presentations.
- Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC) and POC assets.
- Participate in conferences, shows, and exhibitions when appropriate and requested.
- Recommend and influence market content.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- In‑depth knowledge of vendor products and server/storage.
- Good understanding of network and security.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technology simply.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
- Self‑motivated and flexible.
- Ability to effectively multi‑task and handle a high volume of requests, especially unplanned/unscheduled requests.
- Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Sensitivity to the needs, concerns and feelings of others.
- Effective interaction with all levels of management.
