Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Working with Routers, Firewalls, and Switches
2. Working with Sd-wan
3. Perform network security design and integration
4. Working with different WIFI devices
5. Working with Network Monitoring systems
6. Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
7. Provide network and host based security, incident response, firewall, and VPN management and administration
8. Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction
9. Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices
10. Provide network documentation
11. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
12. Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions
13. Manage projects and maintenance tasks and work with the ticketing system
14. Work closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices
15. Remain current on emerging technologies via professional groups, trade magazines, internal and external training, independent research and study, and other avenues available
16. Perform other tasks based on project requirements
17. Participate in meetings and conference calls related to support and proactively identify process improvements

Required Skills:

1. Strong Knowledge and Remote Support
2. TCP/IP network routing, communications ports (port-forwarding), and configuring hardware firewall rules
3. Must have had a lead role in the design and implementation of Medium to Large networks
4. Strong written communication and documentation skills
5. Advanced knowledge of IOS, NX-OS, EIGRP, BGP, GRE, and OSP
6. Strong knowledge on Switching (Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches)
7. Decent understanding of all well-known ports
8. Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, DMVPN, etc.)
9. Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD), and possess an understanding of how to support these applications/protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances
10. General understanding of VoIP equipment and operation
11. Understanding and developing strategies for data protection via data backups and business continuance planning for disaster-recovery situations
12. Working with technical-support services to develop solutions to problems with various products’ support departments, including ISPs and hardware & software manufacturers
13. Ability to learn new technologies and run training sessions
14. Must have reliable transportation, Internet access from home, and be on call for issues after hours

Salary: ₹300,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
