About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Practice Head – Cyber Security to build and scale our Cyber Security practice. This leadership role is responsible for defining the service portfolio, developing go-to-market collateral, building a high-performing team, driving business growth, and acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers. The Practice Head will work closely with Business Development, Sales, and Delivery teams to establish a strong market presence and deliver sustainable growth.
Practice Development
- Define and develop the Cyber Security service portfolio aligned with market demand and business strategy.
- Create service offerings, solution frameworks, methodologies, pricing models, and delivery standards.
- Develop practice assets, reusable accelerators, case studies, whitepapers, presentations, and other sales collateral.
- Continuously enhance the practice based on emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer needs.
Business Growth
- Partner with the Business Development team to identify and generate qualified opportunities.
- Support new business acquisition by engaging with prospective customers and positioning cyber security solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales teams throughout the sales cycle to drive closures.
- Own practice-level revenue, pipeline contribution, and growth targets.
Customer Engagement
- Lead customer meetings, executive presentations, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to CXOs and technology leaders.
- Understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate security transformation solutions.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key customers and partners.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Lead pre-sales engagements including solution design, proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, and technical presentations.
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, and commercially viable.
- Provide technical leadership during customer evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements.
Team Building & Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing Cyber Security practice team.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop consultants, architects, and security specialists.
- Establish capability development plans and certification roadmaps.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Market & Partner Engagement
- Build relationships with cybersecurity technology partners and OEMs.
- Track emerging cyber threats, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Represent the organization at industry events, webinars, and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 15+ years of IT experience with at least 8 years in Cyber Security consulting or practice leadership.
- Proven experience in building and scaling cybersecurity practices or business units.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security domains including:
- Security Operations (SOC)
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Zero Trust and Security Architecture
- Demonstrated experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, and customer-facing engagements.
- Strong business acumen with experience driving revenue growth and managing executive stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor
- Relevant cloud security certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
