Amazon Prime Video India is seeking an experienced entertainment public relations professional based in Mumbai to lead earned media campaigns for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios content.
You will collaborate with internal teams, international colleagues, and external agencies to generate high-impact coverage, manage talent events, draft materials, and monitor trends across India's media landscape.
Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+ and HBO. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.
We are looking for an experienced entertainment public relations professional to execute publicity campaigns for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios content in India. Based in Mumbai and reporting to the Head of Communications for Prime Video India, you will be responsible for driving earned media coverage and conversation around our growing slate of Original, Exclusive, and licensed content.
The successful candidate will execute communications campaigns across our content portfolio — including Original series, films, unscripted programming, and live sports — working closely with internal stakeholders, international PR colleagues, and external agency partners to deliver impactful publicity in the India market. You will write compelling materials, manage media relationships, and support the planning and delivery of publicity events including premieres, press junkets, and talent-led moments.
To succeed in this role, you must have high judgment, strong writing skills, and the ability to execute with speed and precision under tight deadlines. You must think clearly, communicate concisely, and manage multiple workstreams without losing attention to detail. You will be expected to stay deeply plugged into India's entertainment and media landscape — understanding what stories resonate, which journalists to engage, and how to generate meaningful coverage. The successful candidate will be prepared to roll up their sleeves and get work done, even when at times it sits outside the scope of the role's direct remit.
Come build the future of entertainment with us.
