We are looking for a versatile Programming Manager who is responsible for designing and executing the content programming and release strategy for Prime Video AVOD in India. This person will own how content reaches and engages viewers — deciding what content goes where, when, and for which audience. They will work in collaboration with Content, Product, Marketing, Customer Insights, and Business Intelligence teams to build programming frameworks that maximise viewership and engagement. This role will also focus on catalogue strategy, storefront curation, content mix optimisation, goaling and performance measurement. As a result of the broad scope and critical nature of the position, the role will interact with leadership at multiple levels in the company.
Key job responsibilities
3+ years of professional non-internship experience in content programming, scheduling, release strategy, or related roles
Experience in streaming, broadcast, or digital media programming
Experience balancing editorial judgement with data-driven decision making
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional content or programming initiatives
Experience measuring content or programming performance across formats and channels
Understanding of the Indian content ecosystem across languages, genres, and formats
Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
