Job summary

Withum seeks a hands-on Power BI Engineer to join our Bengaluru Innovation team. You will build scalable analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure, shaping data models, dataflows, and governance across enterprise data ecosystems.

You will collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders, implement secure access controls, optimize performance, and contribute to CI/CD practices while mentoring junior developers. The role is based in Bengaluru with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or related field.
• 5-7 years of overall technology experience with 4+ years in Power BI.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure / Fabric preferred).
• Exposure to multi-domain solutions (data + AI + applications).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Ability to work in agile, product-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models aligned to enterprise standards.
• Build and optimize DAX measures, calculations, and reusable datasets.
• Integrate Power BI with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake).
• Develop and maintain dataflows (Gen2), pipelines, and data integration workflows.
• Implement governance practices including RLS, access control, and dataset management.
• Perform performance tuning of reports, datasets, and queries.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders for requirement delivery.
• Support CI/CD and version control (Git / Azure DevOps).
• Mentor junior developers and enforce development standards.

The Innovation team is seeking a hands-on Power BI Engineer based out of our Bengaluru office in India. This role requires strong experience with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric to build scalable analytics solutions to enable scalable, secure, and automated delivery of products and data analytics solutions. This role combines Power BI expertise with data modelling, integration, and platform-level responsibilities across enterprise data ecosystems.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:
