Job summary

Withum is seeking a hands-on Power BI Engineer based out of our Bengaluru office in India. You will develop reports, build semantic models, and optimize DAX for enterprise analytics.

You will integrate Power BI with Microsoft Fabric and manage dataflows and pipelines, while enabling governance and scalable data delivery. The role requires 4+ years in Power BI, 5-7 years in technology, and experience with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related
• 5-7 years of experience in technology with 4+ years in Power BI
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (Azure / Fabric preferred)
• Exposure to multi-domain solutions (data + AI + applications)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Strong collaboration with engineering and business teams
• Ownership mindset with focus on impact and scalability
• Ability to work in agile, product-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Perform performance tuning of reports, datasets, and queries
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders for requirement delivery
• Support CI/CD and version control (Git / Azure DevOps)
• Mentor junior developers and enforce development standards

This role requires strong experience with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric to build scalable analytics solutions to enable scalable, secure, and automated delivery of products and data analytics solutions. This role combines Power BI expertise with data modelling, integration, and platform-level responsibilities across enterprise data ecosystems.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:
