Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee transmission and distribution works at the project site in India. The role focuses on reviewing electrical drawings, material installations, and ensuring adherence to drawings, standards, and safety requirements.

You will coordinate with contractors and utilities to resolve technical issues and monitor progress. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in T&D

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power transmission and distribution projects.
• Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, quality control, and contractor coordination.
• Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission and distribution networks, and standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise transmission and distribution infrastructure works at the project site.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contractor submissions.
• Monitor the installation of electrical equipment, substations, transformers, cables, and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
• Inspect site works and ensure corrective actions are taken for deviations.
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
• Prepare site inspection reports and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.
