Job summary

Centum Infosystems Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, engineer, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade business applications and workflow automations.

This role combines deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse with strong pro-code fundamentals in C#/.NET for custom connectors, Dataverse plug-ins, and Azure Functions. You will lead AI capabilities integration using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure AI into enterprise workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance Canvas and Model-Driven apps tailored to streamline complex business operations.
• Develop custom Dataverse plug-ins, custom connectors, and Azure Functions using C#/.NET to extend the platform beyond out-of-the-box limits.
• Build resilient Power Automate cloud flows (multi-stage approvals, automated integrations, and exception-handling frameworks).
• Architect Dataverse schemas, relationships, business rules, hierarchical security models, and Data Loss Prevention policies.
• Connect solutions across Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), external SaaS platforms, and internal services using Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
• Establish environment topologies, deployment pipelines, managed solutions, and automated release cycles using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Prototype and deploy generative AI components using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI to deliver conversational workflows and intelligent document processing.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, author architectural documentation, and ensure compliance standards.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, engineer, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade business applications and workflow automations.

This is not a low-code-only position. The ideal candidate pairs deep expertise across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse with strong pro-dev fundamentals in C#/.NET for building custom connectors, Dataverse plug-ins, and Azure Functions. You will also spearhead the adoption of modern AI capabilities-integrating Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure AI services into everyday enterprise workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Platform Engineering: Design, build, and optimize high-performance Canvas and Model-Driven apps tailored to streamline complex business operations.
• Pro-Code Extensibility: Develop custom Dataverse plug-ins, custom connectors, and Azure Functions using C#/.NET to extend the platform beyond out-of-the-box limits.
• Intelligent Automation: Build resilient Power Automate cloud flows (multi-stage approvals, automated integrations, and exception-handling frameworks).
• Data Architecture & Security: Architect Dataverse schemas, relationships, business rules, hierarchical security models, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
• Enterprise Integrations: Connect solutions across Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), external SaaS platforms, and internal services using Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
• Enterprise ALM & DevOps: Establish environment topologies, deployment pipelines, managed solutions, and automated release cycles using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Next-Gen AI Enablement: Prototype and deploy generative AI components using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI to deliver conversational workflows and intelligent document processing.
• Technical Collaboration: Partner directly with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, author clear architectural documentation, and ensure rigorous adherence to compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on Power Platform Delivery: Proven record building production-grade solutions across Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Backend Development: Strong core programming skills in C# and .NET (plug-in authoring, custom workflow activities, API development).
• Web Fundamentals: Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and REST/JSON standards.
• Cloud & Identity: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals, including Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• DevOps & Delivery: Practical experience managing source code and deployment pipelines via Git and Azure DevOps.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI & Machine Learning: Practical experience deploying solutions using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, or Azure AI Foundry, including prompt engineering and basic RAG workflows.
• Component Development: Hands-on experience developing custom UI components with the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
• Business Intelligence: Working knowledge of Power BI for embedded reporting and dashboarding.
• Certifications: Microsoft credentials such as PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-200, AI-102, or AZ-204.
• Domain Experience: Experience delivering solutions in financial services, healthcare, or similarly regulated environments.
