Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and deliver applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint/Dataverse as backend.

The role involves collaborating with business teams to capture requirements, set development priorities, and convert them into actionable solutions. You will drive the end-to-end development, build complex flows, and create dashboards while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science engineering with 3+ years in Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Self-starter capable of owning tasks through to completion.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Executed at least 5 projects using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Expertise in Canvas apps and model-driven apps.
• Experience creating complex Power Automate flows and dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience interacting with business to capture inputs and translate to user stories.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power Apps applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and SharePoint/Dataverse as backend.
• Gather requirements from business teams and set development priorities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to map business processes.
• Organize change requests with traceability and proper documentation.
• Translate business requirements into process flows and app designs.
• Develop Power Apps independently and automate processes with Power Automate.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and maintain them.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate inputs from business for UAT and finalize deliverables.
• Use Azure DevOps as interface with business and repository/wikis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Hitachi Energy values.

How You’ll Make An Impact
To develop Applications with Microsoft power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI using Share point / dataverse as backend

• To connect with business to gather requirement and set priorities for development
• Connect with subject matter experts to understand the business processes
• Organize the change requests in a structured manner with excellent traceability
• Convert the business requirements into process flow chart
• Shall work independently in developing Power App Applications.
• To automate the business processes using Power Automate.
• To create interactive dashboards and reports through Power BI.
• Maintain the reports and enhance them based on feedback from users and project team.
• To conduct periodic design review meetings to ensure the development is progressing as per agreed timeline.
• Follow up with business to ensure required inputs are received on time.
• Support business users during user acceptance tests.
• Utilize Azure DevOps as interface to business users, as repository and wiki
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
Bachelor's in computer science engineering with a work experience of 3+ years in power apps and power automate platform.

• Should have executed at least 5 projects using Power Apps and Power Automate platform
• Should have expertise in Canvas apps and model driven apps
• Expertise in creating complex Power automate flows.
• Hands-on experience in data visualization concepts, such as designing dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience in direct interaction with business to gather inputs and convert requirements into user stories.
• Knowledge & Experience MS Office: Word, Excel
