Job summary

Albemarle is seeking a Hybrid Power Platform and DevOps Administrator in India. The role focuses on administering, securing, and governing the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure DevOps across the enterprise, ensuring reliability, governance, and compliant ALM pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Power Platform administration experience, Azure DevOps project/repo management, and enterprise security controls. This role supports scalable development and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform administration, governance and security controls.
• Experience administering Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, and release patterns.

Responsibilities

• Administer Power Platform environments, including creation and retirement.
• Define environment strategies, naming conventions, and usage standards.
• Manage Dataverse environments, solution management, and capacity monitoring.
• Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connectors governance.
• Administer Power Platform apps, Workflows and Copilot Studio agents; manage access and deployment readiness.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance and licensing usage.
• Support audits and compliance with documentation and access controls.
• Administer Azure DevOps organizations, projects, repositories, boards, and pipelines.
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and service connections.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and enterprise solutions.
• Standardize branching strategies and Git usage.

Albemarle is hiring a Power Platform and DevOps Administrator. This position is hybrid and located in India.

Job Summary

The Power Platform & DevOps Administrator is responsible for administering, securing, and governing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio) and Azure DevOps across the enterprise. This role ensures platform reliability, secure access, standardized ALM pipelines, and compliance with organizational governance policies while enabling scalable citizen and professional development.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Power Platform administration, Azure DevOps project and repository management, CI/CD pipelines, environment strategies, and enterprise security controls.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform Administration & Governance

• Administer Power Platform environments, including creation, configuration, lifecycle management, and retirement
• Define and enforce power platform environment strategies, naming conventions, and usage standards
• Manage Dataverse environments, solution management, and capacity monitoring
• Configure and maintain DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies and connectors governance
• Administer Power platform applications, Workflows and Copilot Studio agents, including environment access, security controls, and deployment readiness
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, and licensing usage
• Support audits and compliance by maintaining documentation and access controls

Azure DevOps Administration

• Administer Azure DevOps organizations, projects, repositories, boards, and pipelines
• Manage user access, permissions, security groups, and service connections
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform and other enterprise solutions
• Standardize branching strategies, repository types (Git), and version control practices
• Support integration between Azure DevOps and Power Platform ALM tools
• Monitor pipeline execution, resolve failures, and optimize deployment performance

ALM & Release Management

• Implement and govern Power Platform ALM using managed/unmanaged solutions
• Support solution promotion across environments (Dev > Test > Prod)
• Enforce approval gates, change management, and release controls
• Enable reusable pipeline templates and standardized deployment patterns

Security & Identity Management

• Integrate Entra ID (Azure AD) security groups and service principals
• Ensure least-privilege access across Power platform environments and DevOps projects
• Partner with security, compliance, and architecture teams on reviews and approvals

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform administration including governance and security controls
• Hands-on experience administering Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards)
• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based source control, and release management
• Solid understanding of Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, and pipelines
• Experience with Entra ID security groups, RBAC, and service principals
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
