Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiarity with automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, setup, and execute test cases for EV components (Traction Inverters, DC-DC, OBC).
• Perform HV/ LV test rigs and data acquisition using DAQ systems.
• Conduct DPT, short circuit, and switching tests on IGBTs/MOSFETs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Power Electronics Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of practical experience in the eMobility/EV domain. This is a dedicated hardware testing and validation role focused on high-voltage component evaluation. You will build test setups, execute test plans, and validate critical powertrain systems in a lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Validation: Plan, setup, and execute test cases for EV components including Traction Inverters (M2/M3), DC-DC Converters, and On-board Chargers (OBC).
  
• Power Semiconductor Testing: Perform hands-on characterization tests including Double Pulse Testing (DPT), short circuit testing, and switching behavior analysis for IGBTs and MOSFETs.
  
• Lab & Rig Setup: Build, configure, and maintain High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) test setups, data acquisition (DAQ) systems, and specialized test rigs.
  
• Analysis & Simulation: Utilize MATLAB and LTSpice to support test result correlation, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting.
  
• Documentation: Develop detailed test plans, matrix documentation, verification reports, and failure analysis logs.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) or ASPICE processes.
  
• Background in thermal testing and environmental validation of power electronics.
