Job summary

Axis My India is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and management to translate requirements into insightful visuals.

Responsibilities include building data models, writing DAX, and ensuring performance and security across reports and datasets. Office-based role in Mumbai with cross-functional cooperation across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, measures).
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with performance tuning and best practices in Power BI.
• Understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements
• Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop
• Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (Excel, APIs, GCP sources, etc.)
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using Power Query
• Ensure report accuracy, performance optimization, and data refresh scheduling
• Implement row‑level security (RLS) and manage datasets, workspaces, and gateways
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide actionable insights
• Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data flows
• Troubleshoot issues and support users with Power BI solutions
