Job summary

RVS iGlobal is seeking a dedicated Power BI developer to construct Power BI reports for internal and client use. You will gather requirements, convert them into statements of work and technical docs, and complete the builds, often facing clients directly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BI/Analytics, strong DAX/Power Query and SQL skills, and experience integrating accounting systems with reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years BI/Analytics experience with 3–5 years Power BI development in production environments.
• Advanced DAX, Power Query (M) and data modelling (star schema, performance optimization) plus strong SQL/T-SQL skills.
• Experience integrating accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite with reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Construct Power BI reports for internal and client-facing use, with varied, interesting builds.
• Gather requirements from finance stakeholders, convert to statements of work and technical docs, and deliver.

About the job

RVS iGlobal is looking for a dedicated Power BI developer who would be able to construct power BI reports both internally and externally for clients. The builds should be quite interesting and varied with an expectation that the candidate could be client facing and gather the Power BI requirements both internally and externally, convert them into statements of work and technical documentation then complete the builds. We would expect the candidate to be an experienced self-starter who is able to function independently with support from myself on highly technical cases, backlog prioritisation and client relations.

Requirements

Financial Domain Knowledge (Highly Desirable)

• Previous experience building financialreporting dashboards OR working with accounting/finance systems
• Understanding of core financial metrics: grossmargin, EBITDA, utilisation, cost-to-serve, project profitability
• Experience with management accounts, customerprofitability analysis, divisional P&Ls, or budget variance reporting
• Ability to understand business context behindfinancial data and identify insights
• Strongly preferred: MSP, professionalservices, or project-based business experience where billableutilisation and project margins matter

Systems Integration Experience (HighlyDesirable)

• Experience integrating accounting platforms(Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) with reporting tools
• Experience with PSA tools (Halo, ConnectWise,Autotask, Datto) or similar time tracking/project management systems
• Demonstrated ability to create unifiedreporting models from multiple data sources

Power BI Technical Skills

• 3-5 years hands-on Power BI developmentexperience
