Job summary

Emids Technologies is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer in India to design and deliver interactive dashboards, data models, and scalable BI solutions. You will connect Power BI to Azure Databricks, implement RLS, optimize performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into insights.

You should have 5+ years of BI development experience, strong skills in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling, and familiarity with Power BI Service, deployment pipelines, gateways,

• Minimum 5+ years of BI development experience.
• Strong hands-on Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Azure Databricks knowledge.
• Experience with data modeling and semantic models.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Write DAX measures, including YTD, MTD, YoY, and variance calculations.
• Create data models using star schema and manage relationships.
• Connect Power BI to Azure Databricks and work with SQL queries.
• Configure workspaces, deployment pipelines, gateways, and scheduled refreshes.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage user access.
• Create reusable Power BI templates (.PBIT) and themes (JSON).
• Optimize report performance using DAX Studio and Performance Analyzer.
• Validate data accuracy and publish reports to Power BI Service.
• Interact with business stakeholders and maintain documentation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards, building data models, connecting Power BI to Databricks, managing Power BI Service, and optimizing report performance.
